In the state of SC, Physical Therapists can see you without a doctors referral for up to 30 days. If your plan of care extends beyond that time frame, we'll reach out to your MD for you and acquire the necessary documentation.
We are a strictly out of network provider, but that does not mean that you cannot receive reimbursement from your insurance company. Due to the complexity of this topic, we prefer to discuss the details of what this will look like for you in our screening call!
First we'll have a quick chat about whether or we are the right fit for you. Then, we will, as efficiently and effectively as possible, return you to the active life you love. It's as simple as that!
Physical
Therapy
The goal of performance physical therapy is to raise the capacity of the body, not just restore your function. So we at OFF THE BLOCK will perform manual therapy techniques as well as specific exercise prescription to get you back to you active lifestyle without pain, and ideally without ever having to modify or pull you out of your sport/ fitness/ activity!
Return To
Sport
With this service, we bridge the gap between traditional PT and returning to sport. At this point, the athlete has returned to sport in limited capacity, but not at his or her target level of performance. Our goal here is to get the athlete returned to his or her sport and performing better than pre-injury level. Our doctor of physical therapy put on their athletic trainer hats and push you to the next level. Who doesn't want that?
Performance Progression
Performance Progression focuses on helping athletes continue to level up after returning to full activity—without disrupting their existing training environment. This phase is designed to improve strength, conditioning, cardiovascular capacity, and movement efficiency as they relate to the demands of your sport. The emphasis is on smart progression, durability, and readiness so athletes can train harder and more consistently with their coaches or programs. All programming is guided and monitored by a Doctor of Physical Therapy, ensuring appropriate loading, recovery, and accountability while supporting long-term performance and injury prevention.
