Don't Let Knee Pain Keep You on the Sidelines Any Longer

You're active, driven, and refuse to let injury define you. But knee pain has other plans—and you deserve better.

Your Training Is Suffering

Every run, lift, or practice session is a reminder that your knee isn't what it used to be. You're modifying movements, avoiding certain exercises, and watching your performance decline.

Traditional PT Isn't Cutting It

Cookie-cutter exercises and rushed 15-minute appointments with rotating therapists haven't solved the problem. You need someone who understands your goals and treats you like an athlete, not a number.

You're Worried It Won't Get Better

The fear of chronic pain, surgery, or never returning to your sport weighs on you. You've tried rest, ice, and generic advice—but the pain keeps coming back when you push yourself.

Why Central Residents Choose Us for Knee Pain Physical Therapy

At Off The Block Physical Therapy, we don't just treat symptoms—we find the root cause and build a plan to get you back to your active lifestyle stronger than before. No insurance limitations, no rotating therapists, no one-size-fits-all protocols.

• 75-minute comprehensive initial evaluation with full-body movement assessment and same-day treatment

• One-on-one care with the same Doctor of Physical Therapy every single visit—no assistants, no turnover

• Performance-based approach designed for athletes and active adults who refuse to slow down

"Great people! Highly recommend. I am one to resist getting help and to just push through pain, although Dr. Toni convinced me she could help. "I cannot say enough good things about Logan and Dr Toni! Being a Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor I have had several Injuries and dings along the way. Off The Block has helped me recover from my injuries and build a program to help me remain injury free as long as possible." - Kenneth Faith

"They offer personalized, nuanced, 1-on-1 care. Not your average PT experience if you've been to other corporate chain places. I have seen 2 different PTs over the past year at OTB and they have both been wonderful to work with." -Megan Eckrich

 Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about knee pain physical therapy

1. What's included in the $299 initial evaluation?

Your initial evaluation includes a full 75 minutes of one-on-one time with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. We perform a comprehensive full-body movement and strength assessment to identify the root cause of your knee pain, provide hands-on manual therapy treatment during your first visit, and create a customized plan of care tailored to your specific goals and activity level.

2. Do you accept insurance?

Off The Block is a cash-based physical therapy practice, which means we don't bill insurance directly. This allows us to provide longer sessions (75 minutes for initial evaluations), ensure you see the same therapist every visit, and create truly personalized treatment plans without insurance limitations. We provide a detailed receipt (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

3. Can I continue running or training during treatment?

Absolutely! Our performance-based approach is designed to keep you as active as possible throughout your recovery. Unlike traditional physical therapy that may require complete rest, we work with you to modify training, address movement compensations, and progressively load your knee so you can maintain fitness while healing. Our goal is to help you continue your sport—not sideline you unnecessarily.

4. How long are treatment sessions?

Your initial evaluation is 75 minutes of dedicated one-on-one time with your Doctor of Physical Therapy. Follow-up sessions are personalized based on your treatment plan and goals. Because we're not limited by insurance constraints, we ensure every session provides the time and attention needed to achieve real progress.

5. What makes Off The Block different from other physical therapy clinics?

We provide true one-on-one care with the same Doctor of Physical Therapy every visit—no assistants, no rotating therapists. Our performance-focused approach combines advanced manual therapy techniques, movement assessments, and evidence-based training methods specifically designed for athletes and active adults. We practice what we preach and take your injuries as seriously as our own.

6. What should I bring to my first appointment?

Wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely and exposes your knee (shorts are ideal). Bring any relevant imaging reports (X-rays, MRI results) if you have them, athletic shoes if you're a runner or athlete, and a list of your current activities and goals. Most importantly, come ready to move—we'll assess your movement patterns and begin treatment on day one.
